I rode my pony properly today (meaning more than just a very nervous walk) for the first time since my horrendous fall in July! We did walk, trot and canter in the school and even dealt with a scary lorry which isn't usually parked by the school!
I am so grateful to my yard managers for their help and support. 2 weeks ago I decided after she had thrown all her toys out of the pram on the lunge that I would never ride her again, however thanks to one of the YMs riding her and proving that she isn't a nutter she just needs work and the other talking non stop to me while I was riding today I managed it and more importantly I enjoyed it and she was really well behaved!
So pointless post but hopefully it will give some of the other nervous people out there some hope
