As above, and also where are you?

It was -10.5 at my yard and I am just outside Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk - brrrrr.

Fizz's water bucket was frozen solid, her bed was sparkly with frost, even the poo in her stable was frozen balls, made mucking out really easy!

I don't know

It was minus 11 yesterday but today it was a mere minus 5 and I got too hot. Sad thing is the sky looks full of snow so any moment now...

Not too bad here then at -5 at around 9 o'clock.

We're on the Leicestershire/Warwickshire border, and tbh, I think we are quite lucky in this part of the Midlands as we never seem to get the VERY worst of any of the weather.

I'm getting a bit fed up of carrying water out to the fields now though, and the hay which was supposed to last us until May is looking a bit low........

Warm here too, just 7C

It was only about -2 or -3, not as cold as yesterday which IMO wasn't as cold as last week - yet we're 10 miles from Benson where they recorded -17.7 yesterday. However we're nicely warmed by our proximity to Reading - and well lit by Reading too: popped out last night to top up hay about midnight and the light from Reading was lighting up the sky and reflecting back on the snow so it was almost like it was soon going to be dawn.

Was eerily quiet though, we are less than a mile from the M4 and I couldn't hear it. Plenty of trains though, they're only half a mile away on the Paddington line.

Minus 15 here in north northumberland. Feels it too. Would be a lovely day for riding if there wasn't a foot of snow on the ground.

Minus 6 in Tiptree Essex this morning the suns out at the moment but its really cold.
All the waters were frozen in the stables as was the poos. taps, toilet & padlocks frozen solid.

We are a tropical minus 7 Hampshire and my hubby did my horse for me as he worked from home and I went to work.

He had strict instructions to top up water in stable and fill haynet but big KWPN sussed his inexperience out and barged right through him (never done it to me!) and pranced off round the yard to the muck heap and then cantered around the huge snowman we built. Hubby didn't know what to do

, bless, so he managed to herd him into a field where he rolled and rolled and rolled in the snow in his pyjamas!!!! Hubby couldn't get anyway near him to bring him in or throw a turnout over him so horse had a great day out in the field
