So how long have you been riding?

Which task takes you the longest?

Whenever there's posts asking for advice i know I often don't post as I feel I don't know enough to be really useful as I've not been riding that long. So because I'm nosey I'm interested in how long on average we've all been riding on here.

I've been riding for 38yrs

About 30 years (must have begun when I was about 10) but with a break of about 5 years in my late teens/early 20s.

It wasn't until my mid 20's though, when I bought my first horse, that I became anything more than a once a week riding school rider. I just hope that in all that time that my riding has actually got a lot better!

I had my first riding lesson when I was 3yrs which to answer your question would mean I have been riding 38yrs but I would say I have been riding correctly with experience under my belt for the past 20yrs - how old I feel now!

18years - my 5th Birthday present from my Mum - I'd been poinitng a try to get to ponies since I was old enough to know what they were - she still regrets that birthday present
