Ok so I'm not saying that I will, but hypothetically speaking, if I were to join the matchy-matchy brigade.... how best would I go about it?!

I already decided that bottle green looks good on him, and have a very smart bottle-green saddlepad. His boots are white, so no can do with the matchy matchy boots (unless I spray them... hmmm!) although the saddlepad has white piping, so they're not too mis-matched ;)

So how do I accessorise my horse?! Bottle green hat-silk for me, or jodphurs, or gilet, or jumpers?! :D

And even better, has anyone seen any nice bottle green stuff?! ;)

I have recently crossed over to the sparkly side!! Its a slippery slope so be careful!!

This was todays matchyness... Pretty Anky set....

I also like my new sparkly browband....

Ebay seems good for matchyness! Although I did just buy a dressage pad from the netherlands cos it was sooooo lovely and pink and I already had the bandages!!!

Have fun and post pictures!

Fur feather meds are doing £5 off when you buy matching saddle cloth and bandages at the moment....I just paid for a royal blue set for my boy!

Premier equine do some lovely cooler type rugs in green and White. I want my boy in green and White as well and it's really really hard! It's not a popular colour combo and not easy to find! I'll be watching this thread carefully!

I really should have thought about this before posting... now I have even more internet shopping sites opened in my browser :D

Allie, you're right, it IS a very difficult combo, but I think bottle green is a gorgeous colour on all horses, especially chestnuts. (What colour is yours?!) I think my saddlepad is gorgeous, it's the piped Mark Todd one: http://www.equestrianclearance.com/westgate_efi/mark_todd_gp_saddlepads/index.html

Will share all successes with you! Am off to check out premier equine :D

Step one, have just bought a bottle green hat silk from ebay: http://cgi.ebay.ie/Riding-Hat-Cover...uestrian_Clothing_MJ&var=&hash=item8e078da6d1

I have ordered a lemon set incl bandages for my bright bay mare, i also bought a matching yellow t - shirt :o

You're a bad influence, Vickijay :D

I REALLY like the brushing boots... excuse my stupidity what is size 4? Never seen numerical sizing for boots before?!

Hmm dont know, if you look on woofs website its all s, m, l, xl etc....
Maybe email the seller with some :confused::confused:

Never mind the gorgeous bling - loving your horsey :-)

She's a very pretty hooligan. Not sure how Monty would feel about bling browband (he doesn't even like rugs - has perfected the art of wiggling out of them) but it is gorgeous on her! She's also very shiny... the only time Monty's ever that shiny is when the mud he's covered himself in is still wet :D

LOL.

She gets lots of oil in her feed and she got a posh brush from harrods (for my birthday) which makes her gleamy! She has also had all her summer coat since the begining of Feb!!

You should just blingy browband your boy up! My mum (who took the pictures today) said that it also helped the flies as they were DAZZLED!!! See SPARKLY is pest control!!

Loving the photos!
I joined in, hadn't planned it turned up at the yard in white top white numnah was on my saddle so had to add the white bandages XD Big mistake murphy has stained them a lovely shade of poo!

I'm not alone!
Everyone down at the yard and every horsey person I know takes the p*ss out of me because all of Obie's stuff is matchy matchy!
All his stuff is the same colour, from rugs to buckets, hoof pick, brushes, you name it. I will not buy anything for Obie unless it's blue (he does have the odd thing like a black fly mask ;) ) These are also our XC colours so I am a little obsessed. Plus matching tack is a must. Albion saddle = Albion bridle... feels very embarassed now. I feel sorry for Obie sometimes.

You've made the right colour choice - bottle green's gorgeous, and especially so on chesnuts! Looking forward to th photos when you've obliterated a credit card and it all arrives ;0) lol!

O/T from your slightly weird matchyness frenzy :D but Vick she's looking smashing!!! Wowzers good work there chick!!! xxx

Thanks hun. Theres loads more pics in CR as I did a post about her xxxxx

Dizzyblonde99- Your white matchyness is so white it hurt my eyes!!!!

You're all so coordinated! I lunged Monty before work this morning in his green/white saddlecloth with his white boots and green lungeline... he looked very handsome! Sadly the cavesson is navy, sigh! Also unfortunately my old horse was very blue and I'm using all his grooming stuff, so no new green grooming kit until Monty's completely trashed the old one.

But I did notice a small cut on the inside of his off hind so think he must have caught himself... can't possibly use the beautiful shiny white boots for hacking so will just have to get those green ones :D

Suppose I'd better get back to work to fund all this!

I have bottle green on my boy and I love it! :)

Just a quick question how thick is your numnah? I've been told by saddle fitter I can finally ride in a numnah again but it has to be very thin.

Also I have a lovely cooler rug from Bucas which is bottle green with navy clovers on it.

It's fairly thin... difficult to describe, maybe look up Mark Todd piped saddlecloth, there might be a weight stated in description? Thinnest I own anyway! I have a sheepskin lined halfpad underneath as well (just cos that's what previous owner used). :)
