.....the forecast for here tomorrow is heavy snow. All afternoon and night then -4. It was a beautiful spring day yesterday with horses out naked. Today freezing cold and high winds. Sigh. ?

Lessons starting again next week. I have a week to get myself and horse fitter and back in the school (lots of hacks lately lol)

likey the weather will stop us or at least that’s my excuse and I’m sticking to it!!

I feel your pain! Been trying to get my mare back going since the start of Feb, put back but various factors but going sweetly on the lunge all week, meant to get back on board today but ran out of time, heavy snow and 60 mph gusts over the next 3 days mean it's not going to be a possibility until next weekend either!

Can't get over such a drastic change in weather, barely had rugs on the last fortnight including today (was 15 degrees at lunchtime!) Snow started about 9pm and it's now white outside and "feels like" minus 7!!

It says snow here too .

I don't think it will last long, and I expect full return to normal tomorrow. I can remember these spring snow events in my youth, closed school in May one year!!! Would have been 1978 or thereabouts. Normal service was resumed the next day. It was astonishing!
