After deciding, and none too difficultly, that the little stud's horse (the one with the dodgy hind leg?) was not for me, I then went back to where I bought my other mare from, and a horse before that, on the off chance she had something in. She is a sort of private dealer- has about 10 well bred horses she regularly competes, who are always for sale- but never pushed, if you know what I mean. I quite trust her!
Anywhom, I nipped back there and I would never have guessed she would have yet another perfect horse for me! He is a beautiful 16.3hh 4 year old Belgium Warmblood, by Exploit De Roulard. He has (touch wood) been fab so far! had one little lesson, which was good- have been out for a walk hack (pretty much all he will be doing for a while, he is a june baby so his joints are very young!) and has had his teeth done- he had to have his wolf tooth removed (I have turned into a soppy mother and kept it. I dont know whats happened to old hard-as-nails me!)
I am very happy with him, and very very excited for his future. he is showing really good promise on the flat, he is pretty well balanced for a youngie and really uses himself behind. He's got a fab walk too, hoping to get some 8's and 9's for that at least! He is still a little ropey at the moment, but he has no muscle at all so that is to be expected.
I didnt expect to be buying another one before I sold my polo pony- She has a home waiting with a friend, but I have to sell her mare first- If anyone is interested in a 15.1hh Top Tiger Allrounder skewbald mare (d/sj/xc/polocrosse) then do PM me!
