both the owner and where these cattle should be

Expect the cattle were found on the road and they have been popped into the nearest field to prevent a road accident.

Actualy it would probably do your field some good, that grass has got far too long.

I think Id be a bit upset if I went upto the field and found cows in it.I sometimes find a few sheep,which are a pest.
Hope the farmer sorts it soon.

Yes and improve the grazing.Cattle have been grazed with horses for centuries

If I wanted the grass I am paying for eaten down I would have grazed my horses on it. Why should i pay for someone else to graze their animals?
