I remember reading somewhere that good riders didn't fall off - they were
catapulted. Well I have fallen of twice this year, the first time I broke my wrist (in January) and the second time I fractured my transverse processes.
Last year I fell off lots and lots (like once a month) and didn't break anything......
In between my two falls this year there have been quite a few sticky moments but haven't come off whereas previously I would have....
So my big theory is the fact I have broken bones twice this year is actually proof I am a better rider! Woo hoo!
(please be gentle with me, I am on codine and red wine
