So i listened to you all...delicia is back in her snaffle!

Never posted on any of your previous threads but have to just post on this one and say the difference is remarkable and she looks great. Well done for your progress with her - she looks much more stretchy. :)

And I wouldn't beat yourself up over the double - she is obviously a big bolshy horse and you did what you had to do to enable you to get through that at the time. But you look like you've come out the other end and she looks fab. :D

well done BH, not always easy to hear that you've got something wrong and even harder sometimes to act on it but you have done both :) Dee looks much more relaxed and so do you, long may this new relaxed partnership last.x:)

I read one of you less positive posts on here a week or so ago.....And I have to say WELL BLOODY DONE THAT WOMAN!
It takes guts to listen to advice/critisism.
It takes even more guts to pick yourself up when you are down towards rock bottom AND still listen to advice/critisism.

Huge admiration from me,for your horse of course;),but mainly for you.:)

Not an excuse but due to *cough* a monthly issue i have terrible cramping. :(

Sometimes, on a forum, you can find yourself knowing *just* a little too much about someone you've never met  :D

btw, very impressed with the weight loss - can you lend me some of your will power?

Well done for giving it a try and I am so glad it's worked out. She looks much happier in her frame and I think she will really benefit from stretching out and working long and low for a little while.

She is such a beautiful horse! She does look happier and you obviously are too so smiles all round :)

Definetly smiling all-round :) if my horse is happy, i am happy :)

And again, where did yu get her boots :)

She looks fab

It here But oyu have been warned :P

Thank you. It was really hard to be told something i was doing for what i thought the right reasons was actually wrong. But i am only 24 and would never profess to know everything. We learn by experience and i wont be making the mistake of pushing dee too far too soon. :)

Thank you. A lot has happened since then. PM me and ill chat with you about it. :) But my eyes have opened to a lot of things lately. :)

I noticed that too ;) You look great! You both look great! :)

Thank you :) i am really trying. I need to build my core muscles up more but i cant use a gym because there are so many machines/exercises im not allowed to do.

:P sorry :D perhaps a little tmi. I had a photo taken off me and it looks like a walrus riding a very skinny dee. I used to be very skinny, ill settle when im a size 12 :)

She looks so much better! You both look more relaxed, too.

Doesnt she :) she was a pleasure to ride today.

Definetly 100% agree with you here :)

She looks beautiful ...

I think as well as riders maturing in knowledge and attitude, horses also mature into their work. It may well be that you needed the confidence-gaining time in the double bridle to overcome some of the original hurdles you faced with her. But now you're both ready to progress in that relationship on a new level. And that's a wonderful thing. So don't beat yourself up, just be glad you did it!

I think you have hit the nail on the head here :) but now i have the confidence i can go back to my snaffle and transfer that confidence into dee.
