This is my approx 20 year old feral who has been looking a bit skinny despite running up huge feed bills. Getting the spot on anywhere near him is hard work so I went for a packet of panacur mixed in with something yummy
For the first 24 hours he was really off his food, then seemed ok until 2 days ago when he went off his food again. Just as I'd decided it was probably thyroid or something serious he walks over to a rug that has fallen down and vomits what I was expecting to be a hairball.
I didn't take a photo but I did call my squeamish OH to take a look at the enormous pile of worm that was thrown up. I have a horrible feeling it was just one huge disgustingly dead tapeworm.
Won't be having spaghetti for tea .....
