She's gorgeous! It's so nice to see youngsters growing up happy and chilled out. She looks like she's nicely put together and she has a really kind face with lots of character judging from a couple of pics! Can't wait for the time when I've got the means to buy a youngster of my own :D Hope you continue to have lots of good times together.

Character, definetly one of the most intelligent horses i have ever had,and i love her for it,shes helped me through thick and thin and i have with her could not change her for the world. She is chilled and takes each step as it comes well we both do,she knows me too well now and same with me to her.Shes an absolute angel to ride but also knows when i want to step up a gear, but she also knows when she has a novice on her back, thanx so much for your nice comments, definetly makes it all worth while when you look back and think did we really do all that and how far we have come, its a massive achievement for both of us and we have prooved a few people wrong along the way, especially the ones who said i would never be able to handle her, well tut, tut, how wrong were they, lmao. But thank you so much.xx

aww shes so pretty! and wow she's grown loads!! give me hope for my youngster who is 15hh at the bum and just turned 3. i was hoping to get 15.2hh out of him!
she is looking very well and a credit to you :D

Lovely horse and very interesting post for me! I have a 2 year old haflinger x comtois who was gelded a few weeks ago. He is 14h now and really hoping he might make 15h. Did you measure your mare in length over the same period of time? My boy is just so short and hoping he lengthens out quite a bit, otherwise going to be a problem getting a saddle to accommodate my backside on a short back!
Your girl looks lovely and has such a kind, pretty face. Hope you have years of fun with her :)

Shes lovely also given me hope that my youngster might grow a bit more as i was wanting him to get a couple of inches bigger and he is 3 now!?

Hi all, thanx for your lovely comments,i will have to put some more updated pics of her on here.I did measure her throughout but rug wise she was 5'6 at 2,just short of 5'9 at 3 and a half,at 4 she was 5'9 and shes slowly creeping in to 6ft as i have noticed that her rugs are becoming a tad bit too small, lol, but i think her width has contributed towards this.I could definetly see your lad making 15.2hh no problem rowy!I know that my girl is going up again as shes croup high slightly!!!And she looks huge at the moment i noticed yesterday when i bought her in how her backside is looking rather tall and wide shes more like a middle weight now!!I have also been told that a youngster with a big head is a slow maturer and a youngster with a small head is quick, whether its true i dont know, but my girl had a huge head as a 2 year old,but is now looking quite poportioned but her legs at times remind me of a model, lol. Also i sold a pony back in november who was 3 and a half years old,he was 13.1hh when i sold him and present owner told me hes now 14hh and croup high with plenty more room to grow,i was shocked!I know every horse is different but im sure if your young lad is 15hh now i couldnt see why he wouldnt even make 15.3hh,some people have told me that my girl could push 16hh as she did look very immature as a 4 year old,but seems to be catching up with herself, hope this makes sense and it helps a lil.xx

What a beautiful young lady you have! :) Gosh hasn't she changed since she was 2! I have a two year old tb x cob (coloured in my signature), and as I was reading through your photo titles, I got to the 4 year old one and thought excellent, he will only a hand possibly and I will have a 15.3hh. I then read on and realised your mare grew another 2 inches since then!

She's a very beautiful girl, a credit to you! What is she called? Have you any plans for her? xx :)

Your coloured is stunning he looks like a right handsome chappy!!Her full name is Gypsy Rose-Lee,but i have always called her rosy lee,i am not to sure really shes got a beautiful natural head carriage but is a seriously scopey jumper,i found out when she decided to jump over a 5ft electric fence!!I would love to eventing in the long run as she can turn her head to anything pretty much and loves her work.Thank you so much for your comment that was lovely, well her size has definetly shocked me i was only expecting 15hh maybe 15.1hh but she just doesnt seem to want to stop at the moment, lol, sounds like your lad is going to be a big boy, lol,I have owned her since she was 18 months old but i cant find any of her baby pics but she was only just 14hh then. What are your plans for your boy in the future?xx

Thanks! He's called Rox, full title is Foxisle Rocky. I bought him as a 9 month old unhandled colt, standing at 13.2hh. He's now 14.3 as a 2 year old, the vets estimated him to make 16.1 but I had hoped for a 15.2 or 15.3 out of him! :)

Originally I wanted him for just the local circuit, I love XC and do compete SJing and ODE'S on my bay, I've done BE on ticket and loved it, but it's not something I could afford to do on a regular basis. I have done some inhand showing with Rox last year, and this year my friend took him for me as I am recovering from a broken ankle. So with the ankle, it has made me have a re-think about Rox, and when he's old enough to compete, I may try ridden showing and dressage, and see how his flat work comes ready for jumping (if I am able to jump that is)! :)

LOL, naughty Rosy Lee - at least you know she's got scope!!! :p I love her name, it really suits her! xx :D

Ohhh,he sounds so yummy please send him this way when you get 5 minutes, lol. He sounds like hes definetly going to be a big boy and i think he will fly past the 15.2hh/15.3hh mark!!Dont forget hes got to fill out yet,it sounds like you are going to have a lot of fun with him, which i hope you do.So sorry to hear about your ankle hope it gets better soon, and make sure you put up some recent pics of Rox as it would be nice to see how he looks now i do remember him from a lil while back when you put piccys up before,he was stunning then infact i am sure it was on an old post i put up,lets see your cob x tb's?
Well thank you very much,i will keep putting pics up of her to show you and everyone else how shes getting on and to keep giving you a rough idea on how your boy will develop. She is a naughty girl, decided she had enough of present field and jumped over 5 bar gate the other day,but i have moved her on to better grazing so shes happier now....but for how long we will see, lol.xx

She's absolutely gorgeous! Cob x TBs are definitely my favourite breed, my gelding who's 13 years old now is the same cross and he's been a fantastic pony, although he's a bit smaller than yours at 15hh. It's really interesting to see how much she's grown, my friend bought a foal who's parents were both 16.2hh and she has only matured at 14.3hh so it's nice to see how others grow. You're very lucky to have her, bay is my fave colour as well! :D *very jealous!*

Totally agree cob x tbs are the best!i am very lucky indeed could never ask for such an honest horse i really could and no one would ever be able to prize her off me not even for a million pound, you got no chance which is what i normally say.Considering before i got her i said i would never have anything with a tb in it(Please no offense),i did see her a few months before i bought her as viewed and bought another youngster and bought him but also viewed her at the same time, but decided that i wasnt looking for another horse, decided a few months later i want to buy a bigger youngster, started looking on horsemart and found a gangly 18 month cob x tb,phoned up spoke to lady and long behold it was rose i couldnt believe it was her, talk about fate comes back and bites you in the bum,so went up next day, bought her back home, everyone thought oh my god what has she bought, only to discover that my ugly duckling turned in to a swan!!!lol, love her to pieces though, shes got the temperment of a cob, gentle and caring, but she knows how to turn it up a gear when i need her to,lol.
I am glad that you are a cob x tb fan,i would recommend one anyday providing its suitable for that certain person,i definetly believe i have my soulmate. What do you do with your lad,and whats his build like?Is he a middleweight or the lighter type?Thanx for your lovely comments.xx

He's quite a chunky chap- definitely more cob! I've had him for about 6 years now, done a bit of everything really- mostly sj with a bit of ode and xc thrown in :), he's more of a jumping pony. He's on loan at the moment because I'm in university but when I've finished I'll be getting him back- no way could I ever part with him! I am totally in love with the cob x tbs, my gelding is the same temperament wise- gentle/extremely honest/huge jump :) and can turn on the speed when he needs to and also has his "quirky" moments (must come form the tb side I always say lol). I'm glad you're enjoying your cob x tb as much as I've enjoyed mine so far, real little gems- I also love the fact that they're so hardy! Hopefully when (touchwood in years time) he retires I'll be able to find another cob x tb, ideal crosses for me anyway :D

These pics were taken the other day-

She looks a bit porky at the moment as having time off and awaiting physio, she has matured loads i noticed as i was lookin back over pictures!!!But just some more so you can get a rough idea.xx

I have definetly noticed that about this breed they definetly are hardy! She is also barefoot and not a day has she gone sore, your lad sounds so much like my girl its totally unreal, shes has a huge jump and makes it look pathetic whilst i stand there and feel sick, lol, cant wait to get her up and going properly,i think shes dieing to get going too,you will have to put pic up of him,so i can have a nose, would love to see him!!!as he sounds smashing!!xx

Hes gorgeous!!Look at him over the jump he looks so happy doing it,he is quite chunky but a really nice build,i hope my girl ends up like him once shes finished growing,he looks so honest in the face and genuine,i think hes stunning!gratitude to you at how well he looks,i also think the pony is cute, lol.xx

Wow! She has really grown, she is gorgeous. I love posts like this too. Love to see how other peoples horses have grown. Mine Is 3/4 Irish Draught, just 15.2hh and will be 2 yrs at the end of this month. I have really enjoyed reading these posts!!!

Thanks for your comments, his honest face is what I really love about him. The pony was just bought as a companion but she's going to her first fun show this summer lol (when she loses some of those extra pounds!) I'm sure you're mare will turn out to be a smashing horse, after all she's a lovely cross :D

Hiya, Yep thats Dexter. I'm hoping that he will make about 16.2 I bought him thinking he was 6 months old off a guy (who i have since heard some stories about) and was told by the dentist 7 months later that he was 8-10 months old max so he was about 6-8 weeks old when he came to me. had vets back out who did full health check on him and very luckly he was fine and is now growing big and strong. He's brill but can be quite a hand full as is at that testing stage where he feels that he should be the boss!!!

Shes looking very nice, my welsh cob whos just turned 3 is 14.2hh at withers and 14.3hh at bum and i was told he would make 15.2hh his full brother and sister are there but don't think we are going to get there
