So its off to Newmarket

My Vet has now referred Jerry to Newmarket, he is going on Monday, unless he deteriorates rapidly over the next couple of days. He has chronic abdominal pain and she concluded that the wobbling and lack of balance is because he is so weak, not neurological.

She is completely baffled and so lets just hope they have more luck next week. The semi good news is she scanned his bladder and it was normal, so he is over the cystis, and she thinks this may be a completely separate problem, which means we may be able to start another insurance claim.

I have been following your story with Jerry since your decision not to sell him to your sister and now my heart is breaking for you. (Maybe because my horse is also called Jerry and I have also gone through the pain of a very ill horse earlier this year). I really hope things turn out good for you both, however, you must take heart that you have really done so much for him and you have been there for him. I will be praying for him. ((((hugs))))

Glad he is being referred at last. For what its worth, Rossdales are excellent and if anyone can get a diagnosis and prognosis it is them. Fingers crossed for a positive result. Pleae keep us posted - I will be thinking of you and Jerry.
