And found myself standing in my yearlings field declaring my love for him.
Poor Neddy.
3am, electric fencing, flip flops, pitch black but I found him out there and gave him massive kisses and cuddles.
I love my pony.

So much better than some of the things you could have been doing when a little drunk :D
I see no problem with declaring undying love to a horse, a better bet than most beings you could declare to :p

That sounds so funny, I've so done that, not only that, if it's time of the month, i'm very hormonal. I cry, love my horses, hate the fact i'm afraid. Loads of horsey friends want me to take lessons, which i want to do, but am scared to fall off, i can sit in to 5 or 6 bucks, but more than that i'm very scared. (Redicoiusly, I had a bad fall at 16, fecked my confidence), I need about 6 lessons, and i'll be fine, just need to sort it!!!!

Title of that post had me worried. Thank goodness it was just horsey big love at the end of a piddled night - the best kind, too (the horses, not necessarily the piddled bit - but that has its merits, too!).

I am so jealous! How do you remember what you did when drunk??

I have to reconstruct a 3D puzzle of my actions post alcohol binge, usually by checking facebook, just to find out how I got home!

Its ok, last time I was tipsy I was chatting with OH, and he just asked in passing how I'm getting on with my youngster. I promptly burst into tears, proper racking sobs, and OH was saying "surely it can't be that bad? If its not working out just sell him Laura, it doesn't matter. Never mind. What's gone off? Why is it so awful?" - I've got tears streaming, nose running, and manage to stutter (in between gaspy sobs) "n..n..no, he's such a g...good boy! I love him s...s...s...SO MUCH!" :p :D
Not unusual for me though, a fair while ago I had been on the vino and the cat followed me into the bathroom, and I burst into hysterical laughter, then tears because I thought puss was watching me have a wee.
I don't drink often, which is probably a good thing :D

Oh god I suffer serious amnesia when I've had a drink. The night usually ends in a puddle on the kitchen floor crying on my dogs, so nearly as bad.
As for declaring love to your horse, daily basis lol! Yesterday at a show after jumping our first clear round I burst into tears and hugged him, due to relief and pure elation. Que much shuffling of feet and embarrassed onlookers, oh well hehe.

Lol, I do this as well when I am tipsy.

Last night I did it with new 17hh gelding. In fact I was pretty much stalking the poor lad around the field! Other horses kept out the way, they have been victims of me before.

I remember once, many moons ago, taking my shoes off, vaulting on my horse and doing my very best vaulting gold medalist impression. I was like a cross between a very bad ballerina and a very bad pony club round the world impressionist. Horse didn't move an inch, just kept grazing.
Oh the memories, I really did think I was the new equine Darcy bussel (SP)

I also remember trying to vault on a horse in barn, forgetting to jump and going head first into horse and landing on my arse! Horse didn't move, friend nearly wet herself.

Yes.....I am a bad owner

Haha been there!!!

I normally wake up curled up outside in one of my horses rugs though! :)

At the old place, I woke up in my room, with my ponies rug on the floor....apparantly I refused to come out of it as it was 'comfy' so got picked up and towed by friends OH back into my bed, horse rug and all. :p :o haha. Worse things to do....
