I had posted about having to rehome my ponies as we are moving and can't take them. Well they left yesterday. I found them a lovely home, with a friend of my riding horses original owner. She took both of them so they could stay together.

Well, I am gutted. As I kept them at home it is really killing me. When I drive up to my drive I automatically look the field to see what they are up to. When I go outside I miss hearing them call for me. I just go into their field and cry as they are not there. It sounds silly but I haven't even mucked out yet as it reminds me of them going into the box and seeing their poo!!!!!

Its so painful, and we are not moving until the summer so its going to be hard until I am no longer around everything that reminds me. Then on Tuesday their shelter and box is being dismantled as its also been sold.

So basically devastated. Although I know they will be happy and have seen photos, but would do anything to go and give them a cuddle and brush. Its like a breakup, I hear songs on the radio that make me cry.

Sounds ridiculous I know!!!!

Sorry to hear your horses had to go it's lovely they could stay together. I had to part with mine a year ago and still to this day it kills me at least you done your best and found them a lovely home :)

I'm so sorry.
I sort of know what you mean; when I've taken mine away for holiday livery I have hated driving back home and seeing the empty field.
I hope you can take comfort from the thought that they have still got each other, and are in a lovely home. Chin up!
