Hi all, not posted in a while *huge apologies*, however i have spent the past week and a bit coo-ing over a horse that needed a sharer (someone to ride a few times a week), spoke to the owner, went to the yard, saw him and watched him be groomed, asked the questions such as what's he like to jump/school etc and then i got to try him in the school for about 40 minutes and he was lovely i fell in love *stupid* but i have honestly never ridden a horse like i rode him and i was really proud of myself, and i felt like that could have been the start of something great! Anyway, jumped off, had a chat with the owner who said "are you interested" and i replied "very!!" and she then said she would draw up a share agreement and arranged for me to ride again the following friday. However, Yesterday (my birthday as well -woohoo am 17!!), she said that she had seen someone else who drives etc and would be able to fit in better with the horse and the owners schedule so i couldn't share him. I felt really disappointed, i know there will be other horses but its never fair when you miss out is it?

but my mum said something rather strange - not sure what to make of it! she said "Oh don't worry about it, you could find something at Speedgate"...the thing is, im going to speedgate farm for work exp pending an interview, and my mum isn't particularly into horses at all.. and she doesn't really fancy letting me get my very own.. so when she said that (and it was also the way she said it) it seemed a bit weird.. though i could be making a fuss over nothing.
