dont be, its not that bad and im sure youre boy will be fine. All mine were fine. The only problem I had was when they started clipping as one of mine hates been clipped, but the freezmarking part didnt bother her.

My horse is a complete woose and gets really stressy about anything he doesn't like but he was absolutely fine being freezemarked.
It was a few years ago now, so I can't remember how long he had off afterwards, but it wasn't that long and he had no problems at all.
It'll be fine and you'll have the reassurance of having had him done.

I've had six done, not a worry from any. Don't worry and well done for making this sensible decision.

Get a really good grip before the person starts just in case. Daisy really hated it and tried to rear and kick the person doing it but then I'm told that was towards the worse end of things. It was stressful to have done but it healed up really quickly and I'm so glad I had it done now. Its worth it in the long run compared to how upset you'd be if your horse was stolen. They do get over it

Had my boy done when he was 2 and he was a little suspicious but overrall he was good considering, they do find it a little uncomfortable but most tend to behave!!

Hi

it went really well he was a bit touchy with the first one when it went on then settled was fine with 2nd and 3rd and then kicked out with the 4th. i am so glad i got it done, the lady was very efficient and got straight on with it, but not rushed and was very good with him. He moved around a bit but we got him against the stable wall and he was happy to stand with his likit. I would definately recommend it and i am so happy, its like a huge weight has been lifted.

Thank u all
