well I took Rocky cross country for the 1st time ever and he was so good!!! we jumped all the logs tyres and barrels I did not do the ditch as it had a log over the top and really wanted to try an open ditch first!! we also did a bit of show jumping (last time we went show jumping we parted company!) so really please we jumped all the fillers doubles and gate!! hoping to go back next week with my instructor for a proper lesson but very excited and so proud of him he took it all in his stride!!

Well done both of you! I've got an ex racer myself, and know what a rollercoaster of a ride it can be!

Thats fantastic, I ride a couple of ex racers for someone so I know the time, patience and expense at times! it takes to convert these horses to another job, so give yourself a big pat on the back, its very rewarding.
