Mr Splodges is my novice middleweight horse we got him the same time as Tom but he has had to step up to the plate since Tom had his illness. We had a few teething probs at first to say the very least... he was very bolshy threw the farrier on the floor 5 times!! very cold backed would walk like a duck when the saddle went on..We have had his back and teeth done and nothing was wrong he was just a big bratty baby lol
Well we have kept him quiet and got him over most things he was just funny in his mouth we just had him in a happy mouth with lozenge and he was really resistant and nappy so I thught sod it lets try him in a straight bar only thing i had was a pelham, so took curb off and just used the top ring (looked awful) but he floated happy as larry so think we cracked it!!! YAY!!
