Just got back from VOSA centre, and my wonderful old Bedford (Bluebell) passed her plate at first attempt, only thing they picked up was low treads on two tyres, so just ordered two new one. The guy thought the probe had fallen out when he was doing the emissions test as he couldn't believe a 22 year old bedford would have such low emissions
Anyone, she is now sadly for sale as I need a 4x4 for various reaons (large dog, getting to horses in winter etc etc) so can't justiify a 4x4 and horsebox now that we have onl one horse! So I am just wondering where people have had success advertising older lorries? She is a 1986 Bedford TL, in good condition, smart paintwork etc, proper living, and mechanically super reliable (never let me down once in 2 years nor previous owner in the 8 years they had her). Easy to drive, carries 3 small or 2 big horses. I have sent email round riding club and all 3 people who have shown an interest loved her but one's husband doesn't want her to have a lorry at all, one needs to sell existing lorry first and last one needs to find the money from parents etc so not holding my breath....Any ideas on best sites etc to advertise?
