Helped a friend worm some youngstock this afternoon, couldn't get a lift over at the time and it was only a short ride away, so tacked my mare up and rode her over there instead.
She stayed tied up to the trailer happily all day, went to sleep and didn't give a hoot at all the business going on around her.
And used her to round up all the babies....which involved us going into a 100odd acre field, rode her into the middle and called them shaking a feed bag off her, and then having 70-80 yearlings loose following her back, going down an almost vertical hill and then galloping/jumping back up the other side of the banks leading them all straight into the pen/corral made up at the top
She was a gem! Love her And ver ver fun also lol.
