So pleased with Faran today.

Went out a nice longlining hack with a couple of friends and we switched about who was leading and who was following and who was at the back and Faran was fine with them all. Few baby moments that one of the older horses had to take the lead for but he dealt with everything well ?

Got back and I ditched the long lines then put my chaps on and took him into the school and got on. Stood at the mounting block let me on then off we went. Walked around a few times then we had a shirt trot. Went on the other twin and did the same thing and he was just fab.

I dismounted and we walked a little then waited for my friends to finish riding and Faran tried to go down for a roll with the saddle on ? I was like ? STOP! He looked at me like what’s wrong mum ? I untacked him and he walked a few steps away picked a place and had a roll.

Hea been doing so well. He has the physio on Monday for his first check over ?

Thanks everyone ? the three years worth of work and wait has definitely been worth it. I’m sure his halo will slip at some point ( he is Welsh and a chestnut ?) but until then I’m just so proud of him and his willing attitude
