every thing is possible
Well Im still recovering from the past 2 days of madness and mahem of getting missy ready for balmoral .

Missy got placed 5th out of I think it was 12 , was meant to be 16 in the class but a few obviously didnt get in or turn up .

Anyways , she looked fab and was shining like an otter , walked her through the crowds of balmoral amongst buggies and what not and she was as good as gold , my 6 yr old could have led her she was that good .

A friend that owns the stallion to whom shes by did the showing for us as he offered to so hubbie was of the hook , although I secretly wished I did it myself as she was that good (going to do the next one myself

)

Went into her class and was she an angel

she trotted up and right around the arena and she was fab , could have cried I was soooo proud of her , According to breeder she would have been right up there in the placings only due to not having enough condition on ( i knew that anyways ) and also her front foot is slightly turning out which i know is a farrier problem but we will get that sorted .

Judges liked her enough to place her even though she had these "problems" ... and placed her above 2 other top showing people according to missys breeder

Anyways im still beaming with delight that she got a ribbon and got placed , it was such a mad day getting her ready even the rain couldnt stop us but enjoyed every single minute of it so did amanda , she even took her rosette into work with her to show off hehe bless her . (missy is her first youngster and balmoral was her first ever show ) .

Anyways after the day was over missy fell asleep in the stable I mean out for the count lol she was knackered , couldnt get over how brill she went an absolute star .

so all in all fab day .
I know these pics should be in pg but tough lol

I didn't mean that in an awful way.

I mean that she was in her winter wollies and not really looking like a show horse.

It's a real credit to you and all your hard work when you see how great she looks now. Amazing what elbow grease can do isn't it!

Well done that was a good effort - those showing classes are pretty stiff. Didnt get up yesterday but a crowd of us are going tomorrow to watch a friend in the working hunter and then the Grand Prix in the afternoon.

She looks absolutely stunning in those photos. Well done on the placing.

I was thinking about you this morning and wondering how you got on. She has done you proud - and all your hard work has really paid off.

Contratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then had to go and get babies plaits out , could not find the scissors last night at the yard so had to do until this morning, so shes out in the field for a well deserved break.

Yip will txt you and gina when Im heading down, what time will you both be there for ? wonder if I can still use my wristband to get in ? :P :P

Thank you sooo much everyone .

No harm in trying wrist band, but it could be a different colour for different days. You could say you left stuff behind and nipping back to get it they usually are not that strict! Failing that a NIR rail ticket gets you £4 off ticket price on gate. I will be there about 9.30 and if you need a rail ticket let me know and I'll meet you at the gate!

Did you look round the show much on Wednesday? Looking forward to some retail therapy!

Thats what i thought lol

But may be getting some tickets anyways ( thanks for the offer though )

Probably leave for 9.30 so will be there about 10.30

Looked around abit but not much , was up to high doe lol

But did spot a few things , oh yeah and the wine tasting :P :P
The young gentleman (was good looking :P shhusshhh dont tell hubbie ) was adamant to get us to sit down and try some wine , I mean I really soooo didnt want to but with abit of twisting my arm behind my back I had to admit defeat !! :P :P

Sooo exciting you're going to Dublin!

I'll be at Balmoral early as getting 8am train. Hoping it won't be too busy at that time as I get claustophobic! Are you bringing your kids?
