Really pleased with DA. Having only travelled once before we got him he is now loading perfectly!

This week has been such a learning curve for him. Yesterday he went on his first ever hack & was an absolute star and today we hacked to my instructors to let her see him. He met all sorts of scary stuff including a skip monster & was an angel. He also passed 8 horses going the opposite direction without a fuss.

Just a shame my Saturday hack was marred by an ignorant Landy driver who should certainly know better than to rev past horses. Idiot

I'm just thrilled at what a good natured boy he is.

I also have some before & after pics of him in his new rug, let's just say I'm sure it was red when I bought it!

Anyway gushing over for today!

That sounds great...I'm going to follow his progress with a little regret as I was really keen to go and see him but OH talked me out of it and said we could not cope with 2 horses and work as many hours as we do. I suppose he was right but I think I'll always wonder "what if" about DA!

Aww, I will keep you updated. I'm very lucky to have my Mum to help when I'm at work full time, although due to a bad fall she won't be riding him. She has put in a lot of work with loading him though.

We have 1st lesson booked for 1st of March so she will get to see him properly then.

I will take loads of piccies soon, just been so busy doing stuff with him that the camera gets forgotton!
