I should have posted this last week, but totally forgot.

I am so proud of my horse. Last week he went to the Prestige Championships at Prelim level. On the first day he got joint 5th out of 35. The first day was split into 2 heats with 35 in each. So we went back on the Sunday for the finals where the first 6 from each heat competed, he was 1% off getting placed

I was so proud that I actually cried when he did the lap of honour on the first day

My friend who part loans him rode him even though we both qualified (I am such a nice person, lol). I am so so proud of both of them. I only bought him 18months ago and he was VERY green with his flat work. We have been doing dressage for 10 months and are just moving up to Novice level now. All the hard work and lesson have finally paid off.

So out of all the people in the NW that actually qualified, Baron was 7th

I am just so happy he has made it this far, he was a bit scared when he saw his first 'proper' arena but was an angel throughout the whole test. The weather was horrendous but he was an angel all day.

So, well done Baron, mummy loves you

It was the one I asked about, as it turned out his times changed. He competed on Friday and Sunday, not Saturday as we initially thought

Gosh Amymay, you have a good memory.

Unfortunaly I only have a few pics of him before and after as my camera was making the pics of him in the test either too dark or too fuzzy

My friend has bought the CD with the pics and vid on but it has not arrived yet.

Just about to go and warm up (Gosh he looks more like a giraffe than a dressage horse in this pic, lol)

The very scarey arena - he had only ever seen white boards once before but was more scared of the black and white cloth around the edge

And in the line up at the end

Unfortunately not as Brooklyn has been lame for the last few weeks.

He seems to have strained his back (probably hoolying round in the field or may have been cast in his stable) so have had osteopath out but he is only very slightly better. She's coming out tomorrow to treat him again but am starting to get worried that it might be something more serious.
If you are going good luck! Am sure you will do very well, he does look lovely.
PS My god that arena looks scary!
