I managed to get a lesson today- much earlier than I expected my next one to be! We did some polework and small jumps on a 20m circle and he was fab! He has always been a bit hesitant with jumping, he has the ability but he's a little bit scared and stubborn. Today though, he only needed a bit of extra persuasion from my instructor. We ended up finishing the session cantering over jumps (first time ever) and on a 20m circle (also first time ever). They where only cross poles but they where still about 60cm high. I am very pleased with him :). I did end up falling of though  , It wasn't his fault, I got left behind when he launched over the jump and I kind of just went sailing of the side! ooops ;)

OMG I had the same day today! First jumping lesson on my 4yro! (From pervious posts this is the same horse that can chuck off and spook randomly!
He was brill going over trotting polls and cross jumps :) just need to keep a leg on him!
Mum took video and I took it. Dry proudly to show bf an he replied 'my chicken can jump higher than that!'
Ahh but can you ride a chicken and not fall off? ;) I'm glad my boy now has a promising career in clever rounds over trotting polls and 1 foot jumps ;)
YAY GOOD DAY FOR 4YRO!
