Sorry this is a bit of a pointless post but I'm so proud of my horsey! this week is the first week i had to change her bandage and not the vet. Now normally the vet has such a hard time with her and she is a right pain and throws her leg forward, so i was dreading it! :eek:
But i did it tonight and once we got over the initial "i don't like it" she was perfect, didnt need anyone to hold her she just stood there! made me feel so proud because i think it sort of means she might actually like me? maybe?
Just had to share!:D:D:D
 
What an amazing feeling! I had a similar experience, my tb hates anything being done with his mane. I have to brush it, one handed with my other hand behind my back! He's always suspicious it's going to be pulled! After almost 5 years of pulling it if he's had to be sedated (iv) for something, he let me cut it with scissors!! This was a massive achievement!! :)
