Gorgeous George

You may or may not know that George was diagnosed with COPD back in January
the vet and I had been getting him sorted out with a change in management routines and various inhalers and he was doing well (although when he was rescoped it didn't look so good). Then early last month he went downhill and had to have a course of steroid injections followed by tablets along with his inhaler
By now I was getting rather worried about him, not to mention the fact that the insurance had already paid out £3K
Well, the last few weeks he's been doing really well and he was rescoped on thursday and as my vet looked down the scope his face cracked into a big grin, he let me look and I could see it was lovely and clear with no gunk/mucus etc
Relieved wasn't the word for it.
So now we can start reducing the puffs on his inhaler and whilst I know it will never go away hopefully I can now manage it.
The vet also said that George looked in cracking condition
I think he has lost some weight because the grass is so long and he struggles to poke it through his muzzle to eat
Very self indulgent, but feeling optimistic about things again.
