On the way to work this morning, I noticed a cat box on the side of the road at a bus stop, Thought odd no people played on my mind so turned round and stopped, yes three cats one adult to oldish kittens !!!!!! lots of poop think had been there a while, knocked on all the houses i could spoke to people who were walking and no one knew anything waited half and hour still nothing, so in back of car and took them to a friend who is taking them to the vets at nine.
It makes me so angry that someone could just dump these poor creatures on the side of the road and leave them there, and its not a nice road 60mph limit and major link the bypass etc, im just so sad, and now waiting to hear the out come, have left my number with people near where i found them in case owner comes back but chance of that slim at the most, and will call friend and vet later, we need yard cats so you never know maybe we might be able to home them if not claimed.... Sorry had to share im so upset by it, I dont understand people at all...

I don't understand people like this either

Well done for spotting them - I'm sure one of the cat rescue places will find nice homes for them if you don't have them. The way some people behave towards their animals is really beyond belief!

Sad but too common. We have two cats who people just left at our house (it is in the middle of nowhere but is quite a busy route) over the years there have been about five in total, lucky for them we like cats, eh?

We have five dogs of our own and live in a quite quiet village. On several occasions we have got up in the morning to find dogs either tied to gate or chucked over the fence into the garden. We have had two Jack Russels, and a couple of mongrels. We kept them all for a month or so to assess temperament etc before rehoming them. We have also had three Weimaraners in to rehome although they were by arrangement and not dumped.

Some people begger belief

Thank God you found them before they were cooked in the sun or dehydrated from lack of food and water. You did the right thing - good on you for taking the time.

It is NOT human nature to dump (and conceal) defenseless beings with no food or water and lying in their own excrement.

It is human nature to nurture. Some people's human nature is overridden by an overwhelming sense of evil.

Disgusting.

That is just terrible! So glad you found them and were able to look after them

The farm down the road from us keeps having kittens and cats dumped on their doorstep. They always take them in, check them out and re-home them, but they are not a rehoming charity!! Some people just think that the countryside is where animals should be so there is no problem with leaving some more in it!
