Horse hit on the East Kilbride expressway this morning. From what my colleague saw & Dad heard, it didn't live.

Feel guilty, but was so relieved to count 5 in the field at lunch time

thats awfull. hope it was quick and the horse didn't suffer. those poor owners...my thoughts are with them. Loosing a horse it like loosing a family member

Various contradicting reports, but seems like it was loose. The only horses I can think of there are our ex neighbours arabs.

Someone is going to be devestated.

Poor horsey, lets hope it was quick and he knew nothing about it. Pretty scarey for the driver too

I came across 5 loose heading for the dual carriageway a couple of years ago at 5am. Managed (with help from passers by) to herd them into a field and tie the gate up with a leadrein I had in the car. I really wish people would check their fencing and gates to make sure they're escape proof before putting horses out unsupervised.
