I read about this yesterday, how absolutely horrific for the poor lady. Also for the neighbours who witnessed it and could do nothing to help. I can’t even begin to imagine how powerless they must have felt.

The dog owner has murdered the poor old lady by allowing vivious dogs to get into her garden and attack her. he shouldnt have had vicious dogs in the first place. he should be hanged, get rid of the scum and act as a deterant to others.

They were in a garden, leashing dogs in your garden would be unenforceable, excessive and ridiculous.

For a start it appears the dogs were in their garden originally so keeping on a lead when walking would have made no difference in this case. Secondly the vast majority of dog attacks including fatalities are on their owners or other family members within their property. Thirdly more parents kill their children every single year than dogs have done in a decade. So if anything parents should be kept on a lead and muzzled.

The dogs have now been humanely destroyed after an assessment which said they could never be rehomed.
I do really feel for her family, the people who tried to save her and the poor dogs trained to be that way.
