Loan pony Mischief has to go back to her owners, they want to sell her. Fair enough. We had agreed that they would pick her up on the 30th, time to be decided nearer the date. (this was 3 weeks ago). Now, the owner says could it be the 5th, NO it can't be, we are all working, kids at school and we all want to say good bye. She says some people want her on trial before they buy, but are in Lanzarote, so can't have her til then, and owner rightly doesn't want pony to go there for a week and then move on. Surely she should have thought that before? We have made plans so that the 30th we were all free, it didn't even matter what time of day!! She then accused me of not being flexible and comparing my daughter to hers (hers is of course better) I found it damn right rude. If pony goes on the 5th Feb, then I have lost my Feb money on insurance, end of the month fits in so much better!
So cross. I know, she can pick her up at anytime, its her pony after all, I even allowed time to get her discovery fixed, and she hasn't done that. Why should I go out of my way, my families way just to please amd fit in with her? She gave me 1 months notice, and that ends on the 30th - our original agreement. Now shes playing games!
Anyway, she is seeing what she can do, but no doubt she will order me to leave the pony in and collect her without a word. Hay ho.
