Oh Joy!

According to YO we are in for another 2 weeks of ice and snow and Frozen surfaces so no riding.

So that mean I do not need to feel guilty if I sit in today with a good book and a block of Dairy Milk?

Were going to be having snow too tonight I think. I went for a 5 mile hack today, probably be the last one for a while

Have managed to ride last five days but school frozen today so only walked, riding whilst weather is not too bad!! Not sure if snow forecast for south lincs?? so thought will go out today and find a new riding coat but bloody car won't start!!

At least some of you have schools at all (even if they are frozen). I am desperate to get horse back into work after his annual break but my paddocks are thick with snow and thats all I have to ride in

I wouldn't mind but so far I have cleared out the hot press and all the kitchen cupboards and I never do things like that, and it is quite worrying

I cleared huge amounts of ice today to make a track round the buildings, and I have a horrid suspicion it'll all be covered in snow by tomorrow morning.

As of Thursday I won't have ridden or been able to exercise mine for two weeks as our outdoor school has been frozen solid/under snow since then.

Turnout has been very limited, partly due to the amount of snow lying last week and then this week due to the ice rink on the yard- getting from stable to field is horrible.

Luckily my sensible old lady is very sure footed and calm about being led out so has not slipped or messed about and is happy out munching hay in the field. Certainly happier than being "abandoned" in the stable. However, if ice on yard gets worse I fear that YM will say "all in", rather than the current "up to you".

Can't even box up to somewhere that has an indoor school as the drive is too icy to take trailer down.
