I leave for a 9 day visit and the moment I get on the train, I get a call from YM, who is looking after Bramble for me, to say that he's severely lame on a hind. Heat and swelling, wouldn't walk on it to begin with as had stiffened up but after a few minutes was able to hobble.

Thankfully I activated his vet cover last week, is all I can say. My sister has been up to check on him for me and he's better when able to walk around but still not a happy boy.

And now all that I can do is wait to hear when vet has been out. :S

Oh dear, that is typical isn't it.

But you have left him in good hands and with vet cover, so I would enjoy your holiday and see what he is like when you get back. There is nothing you can do. Hope he's better soon.
