......... All in all what a clever ginger gobshite!!!

Get there- talking to woman, all of a sudden Dex launches- a deer is running across the field!!! Takes a while for him to stop squealing, and actually concentrate

Dex just has no finesse, but is hysterical. Can only just hold it together long enough to sit and stay whilst I walk over the jumps.... goes through the tunnel like a steam train...... not phased by the wobble board... bless his heart!!!

Well done Dex and Lexie sounds like you had a great time, this could be his forte.

I take it his next lesson is next week unless he has bankrupted you, is it a lot to take in? and were you worn out afterwards?.

Dex literally gets it, after one go, but lacks focus. I took a long line but actually he spent most of the time off lead :)

He alos as it turns out can not concentrate after the 40 mins mark LOL- i'd go "sit, stay" he would, I'd walk away turn round and he'd be upside down rolling around like a loony!! Not worn out this time as it is very basic......

Lady was nice tho- non judgemental, and said he was a very quick learner!! Goping to do it fortnightly I think.

Hiyaz Max, I could have jumped well higherz, but apparently iz about doing it properlz- which I funked was a bit stoopid- likes the tunnelz tho.... and there was well loadsa chicken :) Fink I wudz like to come paly at yourz house!

YEAH well done!!!!

Glad it was a success. See you at competitions! :) :)

Ahahahahah! you may well be waiting a while!!! :D

Did you have to do the ladder on the floor thing when you first started? An attempt to get them used to picking their feet up, and not worrying if they knock into something?

Dexter went "erm ok" LAUNCH.......... :D

Yeah we tried that. Althought it was to may him aware of his back feet for the dog walk.... Harley gave it a go, and then went PANIC!!! I CAN'T!!!!

In the 1st few session we did things like gridwork, tunnels and work on drive and directions through my body language.

I think Dex thought it was a long jump!!!! We were doing little grids today- will hve to practise on my little set in the garden!

In Dex's defense, it sounds like he just interpreted "sit, stay" to mean sit THEN stay which he then did, just on his back :D. An easy mistake to make :D.

It sounds like fun though and it sounds like he's going to be good at it. You might want to take up running now to be ready for when he takes off over full courses ... I've done a little course with mine where you can pay some money just to see if they like it and I was more worn out for sure than they were. Mostly from the running around and flapping my arms and jumping the jumps myself trying to get them to get what was going on ... apparently beagles aren't natural agility types and apparently neither is their human :D.

Quite! He does like to put his own spin on certain commands!! Generally he likes to add "launch" into the mix somewhere!!!

His ickle brain was hurting a bit me thinks!!

Where are you doing it? seeing as you are close to me. I want to take Honey out as she has done a couple of classes and apparently really enjoyed it.

So there couldl be 2 gingers racing around....
