Push and provoke? I've never seen anyone being violent to Essex staff, although I have heard people shouting at them.

The Essex terriermen and huntsmen take things too far, I think the magistrate at Upton's trial said near enough the same thing. Perhaps they don't realise that the more violent they are the more people will want to prove that violence and intimidation won't scare them off. Even the local police are thouroughly p****d off with the Essex hunt judging by what they've said to us.

.....and by the way, there are actually many times when, after sabbing a hunt, we've been followed home or stopped off on the way back to London for a quick pint only for a bunch of knuckle-dragging hunt support to trail in after us.

The girls were carted off in police cars, last year I think it was. The farmer called the police as his livelehood was being damaged. The sabs were spraying hay with citronella (he is a hay dealer)

i think these people... i don't even wanna say.. i've been out hunting where they have tryed to drive their land rover into the field of horse.. which mostly where kids... and then one seeing i was having problems with my pony thought it would be funny to smack her!!.. well he wasn't laughing after wards after wombat kicked, and kicked him across the road.. i colundn't help it but say "got what you asked for.. and to think your ment to be an animal lover hitting a poor pony, tut tut" by the way wombat was fine.. think she more than happy after she got some blood out of him lol

The NELS cretins are not interested in foxes. They are interested in intimidating and provoking humans. They do ths through the misguided belief that they are 'toff bashing'. They are the criminals here and it is hardly suprising that a few of them have been on the receiving end of a thump or two.

The only suprising thing is that it doesn't happen more often. If they don't like it, they should stop disrupting a legal activity and maybe take up a sport of some description.
