Just about to leave yard this morning when my friend who had just left rung to say there were 2 dead horses lying in a lay-by just up the road - while she was ringing RSPCA they turned up - turns out they were still alive (just) but skin and bone with severe worm burden and they had been dumped there last night and left to die in the freezing cold. The RSPCA man put them to sleep.

RIP little horses - so very sad and completely uneccessary
