should have been derby jumping but my truck clutch broke - DOH!!
 
Not showing ponies this weekend...showing one of the dogs instead :) Am still waiting for the elusive foal, was up most of last night cos i thought little mare was going to oblige but still nothing :rolleyes: Maybe it will arrive this weekend :confused:
 
I am hopefully taking my boy out to a 2mile rubber gallop track to practice our canter work tomorrow. But i will be going early am so as to miss the heat wave. Then on Sunday i have a lesson with my trainer at 9.45am flatwork. Early mornings for me!
 
Twillight schooling tonight, hopefully once all the heat has disappeared, and then early morning hacks on both Sat and Sun before the weather sets in and I can't be bothered due to the heat :)
 
Showing on sunday.....probably melt or sweat to death but I pre-entered so gotta go. watch out for pony-squishing pics ( or should that be ponio:p)

So...tomorrow got to go buy a new water carrier as mine has sprung a leak.....
 
Zeus has a pretty blonde girlfriend coming to stay for a while.

Noisy beggars will probably keep us awake all night, horses are not subtle creatures;)

Nothing else planned as yet.
 
Hacking tonight, day off tomorrow and hopefully (if I can get the bug*er to load :rolleyes: ) XC Schooling on Sunday, which is something I have wanted to do since I bought him 7 years ago :eek:
 
Hacking/schooling them both tomorrow.

I'll also attempt to persuade our YO if I can change his hay field (now cut/balled and collected) into jump cross course.....not liking my chances though :D but the ground is too hard anyway really.

May if it's not too hot, take the little mare jumping on Sunday but I'd also like to watch the match with a few drinks in the afternoon, so I might just ride nice and early while it's still cool, then watch the game, can't decided at the moment. :confused:
