So when is everyone clipping?

Do I really have to think about this?! My horse is petrified of clippers I decided to desensitise him over the summer but it didn't go well! I got him in January and he had a trace clip as he was in fairly light work and living out. He will be in at night with me and he was getting quite sweaty during our schooling sessions so I think it will all come off except for legs and head as I am going to have to have him sedated may aswell get my money's worth!

irish cob gets very hot, usually have to clip about 4 times during the winter months!
this year has been earlier than most due to strange weather.
 
Probably this weekend - he's already turned into a yeti and it's only the first week in September. Just hope he's not trying to tell me something and preparing for a cold winter!
 
Did my cob yesterday as coat already thick enough to sweat up on fun rides and autumn hunting.

My connie x will be clipped by the end of sept.

Hate clipping as both mine need doing every 4 weeks to look tidy for hunting, but at least they are both good to clip.
