I know of a 14.2 pony on my yard thats for sale for £1500 he was used in a riding school while his owner had a baby, he occasionally jogs but has been hacked out by a 10 year old by herself (with mum on bike) he can jump and do everything he really is a star and will go all day. I think they are a very rare type! Unless you want a youngster?

Just had my viewing cancelled seems like someone beat me to it! Urgh! I have my name down with a D and no phone call at all......the well known Ds are the wrong side of the M25 for me..but perhaps I need to just book a horsey premier inn and go down that way!

Good luck I think its a long search these days for a good old fashioned type....the amount of menages in our area in back gardens is rather a lot! And we have some FAB bridleways shame really ...groan groan I know!

No, I know alot of people who always put on their BP to ride. So I'd still be happy to view the horse (not much to lose, except time and petrol). You could always ask the seller why they are wearing it. If you don't like their explanation, look for a different horse. :D
 
Depends on your budget, but I'm about to advertise one! Hacks alone or in company past quarry traffic on a main A road, and even if the other horse is sky high he ignores them. A bit bigger than 14.2, but not much - 15.1.
 
No, Alot of riders who have very safe Horses, are usually nervy or novice in which case the BP will probably just reassure them and more of a saftey blanket then anything.

A friend of mine is extremely nervous so rides every Horse in a BP.

Sorry for flippant comment. I think he is worth his weight in gold as is any other safe hacker regardless of looks and breeding.

Yes I am agreeing with you here..........I would but I think to get the best out of a bringing on horse I would prefer to be on a yard as it would be kept on its own with retired beasty..and I would want to hack alone and in company. I have tons of people that would help me ie have the knowledge but am worried I will ruin it! But perhaps not!?!

But its becoming a possibility!

he is up for share as a happy hacker-got him on a few sites but no response.he is excellant in traffic,to handle etc.he is 14.2hh part bred arab.aged but in good health.never mind.

not seen the 13.3hh but i like the look of her ill give her a ring :}
