Having been like a small child and getting quite excited about the fact I was having pancakes tonight I now feel sick!
With hubby away I went off and purchased a bottle of squirty lemon and a ready made 'add milk' mix and made six pancakes. Ate one and a half and well maybe I'm just old and it certainly doesn't taste like my mums homemade pancakes and I feel distinctly yuk! Hey ho just think of the figure!

now feeling sick after i ate 3 and cooked about 15 of them for everyone else glad its only once a year

The mix is really easy to make from scratch & takes no time at all. I don't like them that much but the kids have stuffed themselves with them tonight.

Yeah I know its easy to make the mix and I agree I was incredibly lazy this year but I normally get in at about seven forty five and thought they'd be worth trying but au contrare, yuk, yuk, yuk!

I loved mine, even though the non-stick fryingpan had lost its touch a bit.
I can really recommend jamie olivers recipe for american pancakes. !!!! If only he came with them!

Umm mine was lovely!!! 1 current with lemon and sugar then a 'fat' one, banana and chocolate with a dollop of ice-cream. YUMMY!!!
