:D I'm a very proud mum :D

He jumped 3"6 from standing this afternoon - out of the starvtion paddock, and into next door's lush one. Caught red handed. Now I know my instinct was right when he did the same over a five bar gate several months ago - no-one believed me then !

He's supposed to be resting while growing (!) and reducing his waist line after a vet visit this week  He's now out in the main field, with a grazing muzzle on, tied to a headcollar, to see if he can keep that on. For once.

Cobs eh - they're the best !! sm xx

I think I'm gonna have to take some lessons...but he's only three so I've got plenty of time yet. If only someone had a video switched on when these things happen !

I should've known he was not happy, cos he'd eaten all his lite-lick over night (1/3 of the tub). And he is usually in prison only during the day.. But from the size of the poos he's been producing, he certainly ain't going short !! sm x

Hmm, whoever said it was clearly a bit mental! Mine cleared the 5 bar gate at our first yard (he wanted to come in with a friend) and was in and out of the girls' field for some extra-curricular activity with a tasty little mare every hour or so in Spring. I'd put him back, close the gate and he'd be straight back over a 4 foot fence. Swine!

They cetainly can when they put their mind to it! 14.2hh Irish cob V 3ft 6in.
