So who's your money on?

I'd love Long Run to win again - I think he's an adorable horse - owners seem lovely and Sam W-C is my current favourite jockey.

But I've heard good stuff about Captain Chris too.....

aaaahhh i cant wait its going to be a class race!!!

ive got to say my money is on kauto star, i was there that day at haydock and he is just a legend!! its a question weather master minded will stay but mr nicholls says he is pretty confident he will and i suppose he knows him better than the bookies so if mr nicholls says he should stay i believe he should, if he does stay i think he would have a very good chance of a place.

long run is a very good horse but i think kauto star is the better one in my opinion and i think he will win today :)

You can probably rule out Long Run's performance at Haydock, he wasn't exactly impressive first time out last season either. Kauto is a few days away from being 12 and has had 5 weeks to recover from running his heart out at Haydock. Long Run, age wise, should be just coming in to his prime. Masterminded is, as yet, unproven over 3m but I remember people saying Kauto wouldn't get 3m either when he first stepped up. Unless there is carnage and a couple of these get taken out, which is unlikely in a field of 7, I cannot see the winner being anything other than one of the main 3. Everything points to Long Run. However, I have to go with my heart and say Kauto :) And I think as long as Kauto doesn't run a shocker and comes out of the race well we will probably see him run one last time in March.

No one has mentioned Golan Way!!!

If i was a betting lady i would have a few ££££ each way on him!

Just want them all home safe (very nervous for Kauto!!!).

Kauto was BRILLIANT:D

Lots of horses get better with age, look at Moscow Flyer and Edredon Bleu

Such sad news about MasterMinded though ... Hope he's on the mend v v soon xxx

He finished very lame on his off fore, and had to have an op - not sure exactly what the injury is, PN didn't say in his tweet, just that MM went to the vets in Newmarket

Master minded had surgery last eve on very nasty injury. Comfortable this morning. Career threatening but hopefully not life threatening.

On the Sportinglife website today P.N said that MM had struck into himself during the race & cut into a tendon in his front leg. Still in the vets
