I'll start with 2.

Lady in paper has 21 rescue dogs. She has the space and money to care for them before anyone gets concerned as she is a successful singer.

Be surprised if anyone can beat that.

Just the one for me outright, but I look after my mothers dog at times too.

My late grandmother used to breed Whippets, and she often had at least 15 plus several litters of pups. And yep, they all had their 'own' bed (but Whippets being Whippets would sleep on top of each other - a pile of Whips we used to say!! And they all lived in the kitchen too - pups in the converted larder!!

Two, but I'd secretly love another . . . wouldn't want to upset the balance of the pack though . . . Fred and Dinks get along so well and it's hard enough keeping Fred "balanced" and happy.

Anyone know how many the Queen has?

The woman who bred our old girl had 28 at one time. Nice enough lady, I pretty much grew up in her kitchen and in her car at shows :p but there is no way she could give 28 GSDs individual attention...I rang her once as a teenager at a loose end, to come and help but she gave be a *******ing and hang up :p she would be in her late 80s now, still see her car-following the local hunt.

just the two for me, although Millie doesnt stop moving so its like having a whole pack of JRTs in the house, every time i turn around she's there!!

Sounds like Daisy . . . she is pretty much always in danger of being stepped on . . . silly girl.

I'm working on a third - OH is most reluctant, I reckon I'll wear him down once we have a more suitable house and car. That's my limit, I think, I'd struggle to give enough proper attention to a fourth (even though it would perfect my racing team!)

Polar, the Queen currently has six - I remember a few years ago she stated that she wouldn't be breeding any more as they would start outliving her! Three corgis, three dachshund/corgi crosses.

3, so not winning :p I always thought, when I had two, that three was ideal. Now that I have three, I think four would be ideal. :o Three is more than enough, tho, especially with Zak being quite the handful! If he weren't so tricky, I'd be after a resuce spangle.

Bought my 5th 2 weeks ago, must be mad! Puppies are gorgeous but hard work, you'd think I would remember that as my lab had 9 puppies two years ago, one of which we kept, but like pregnancy, you sort of forget how hard it is! I am now the proud owner of 3 labs, a golden retriever and a pug!

I have 3 dogs 2 rescue Dobermanns who are 3yrs old and 1 Lancashire Heeler age 1.

Vizzy I agree that Cayla will win with East Kent coming 2nd and possibly Unab 3rd.

Two currently, three in total.
