I don't know where everyone else is but here it's only 9 degrees, raining heavy and it's so windy it nearly blows you over!! I've had to give in and rug my horses up! What's everyone else doing??

I'm in Cambridge and both of mine are naked one in one out heavy rain overnight but still warm with low wind and dry and sunny tomorrow so i figured they would both live

Yea usually mine stay naked until at least November but it really is cold here...in the car it says 9 degrees :( my mare doesn't do well with cold...xx

I'm cruel my yard is on top of a big windy hill and all 3 are naked!
Big pony has enough coat to deal with it. The shettie has a bib clip and plenty of fat reserves. The new pony lived on a SJ'ers yard and hadn't been wet in god knows how long as turn out was VERY limited, he is shivering his backside off but he's gained so much weight it won't do him any harm!

I put a lightweight turnout on my mare as I am riding first thing. She's a hard welsh pony who probably hasn't had many comforts before I bought her but she seemed rather pleased ;)

Mine already had his lightweight on, being a bit of a wuss in the rain, but he was really chilly tonight so I put his fleece underneath - pretty much guaranteeing that it's going to be a heat-wave tomorrow >.<

Alf has a lightweight on tonight. He looked at it like it was a tiger when I appeared with it, but didn't bog off up the field snorting, so I assumed he was happy with the idea!

It's quite warm here but will rain so mine has a sheet on as he's fully clipped, whether it's still on in the morning remains to be seen!

I've rugged one of mine. It's actually not that cold but he's leaner than I would like. Of course now I'm worried he's going to be too warm so I've set my alarm for quarter past too early to go & take it off :D

My 3 year old NF pony has a lightweight on, but only because she had a bath on Friday for her show on Saturday. She lives out 24/7 and needs a little extra protection from the rain until the grease builds back up in her coat. Night time temperatures here are getting as low as 2 or 3 degrees now.

All 4 of mine had their lightweights on and to be honest I'm bloody glad as I woke up at half 3 to the sound of heavy rain, looked out my window and the rain was that heavy that I could only just see the house opposite :/ apparently were supposed to be getting the back end of that hurricane from America so I think my horses rugs may stay on for a few days as I to have a show on a Saturday :)

I love fluffy ponies :) Nothing nicer that hairy beasts in the filed on a winters day.

And on the plus side, its much cheaper and less hassle. Bonus x

I don't know yet, depends what the stick insect wants.

It is 22C now, forecast says dry and down to 4C, so no more than a tad chilly really.

If Madam is banging the gate when I am feeding goats at 10 tonight then I guess I'll throw a blanket on her. She lets me know if she's cold, obliging creature. ;)

Nope Its fairly dry here at the minute although i did NEARLY cave and throw a rug on the old man but when iwent and checked up on him he was warm and head down scoffing so happy as larry :D

If it gets cold and wet he will get his lightweight on just to keep him from getting wet and getting cold that way as it is fairly windy up here and its a cold wind :)
