Soaked feeds

I have looked and my local feed stockist doesn't have anything bar sugarbeet to soak annoyingly. Until then I've just been doing a mug full of grass nuts soaked to demand - they're not fully soaked but they're softer.

I have just had to put mine on simple systems as he has just been tested for allergies as is allergic to most horse feed (quite scary how allergic) and he is on luci nuts they are bigger than the pellets which you can soak, he gets speedibeet and luci nuts plus supplements which are just put in with the soaked SB as swell up fine. They are low everything as so natural and a small amount goes along way.

I used Allen & Page 'Cool and Collected' for my Welsh D. It's sugar free, molasses free and alfalfa free. High in fibre, with added vitamins. It's a quick soak feed (3 mins) and it's a complete feed so it doesn't need to be mixed with anything else. I bought mine for £11.95 a bag and one bag has lasted me just over a month feeding the recommended amount.

He looks amazing on it, eveyone has commented on how well he looks :) I'm really chuffed. I had trouble with his feeds in the past making him too hyper but this one gives him just the right amount of energy. Can't recommend it enough!
