It is advised with this diet to feed seaweed, however, it is also advised not to feed seaweed to developing horses/broodies. I have fed this diet before to B when she was lactating for H and I have mislaid the info on how to supplement it - can anyone help please? Many thanks!

I remember reading something about this issue on here - vaguely remember that the seaweed was used to supply vit/mins, but if you didn't want to feed seaweed you could just substitute a proprietary vit/min supplement.
 
All I know is that I was told by the vet never to feed seaweed to a horse in foal aparently it can cause mis-carriage / reabsorption of the foetus. Dont know if this is any help
