Soap had his 'bottom physio' on Monday
and he seems much better. Mel used what looked like a horsey slendertone on his bottom to increase blood flow to the muscles, help drain any fluid build up, and breakdown any fiberous hard muscle tissue as a result of the damage. He was no where near as touchy about it as when the vet was investigating it so I think he must be healing well
Being a nerd I videoed the treatment which you can see on my blog here his muscles are really pinging! He has been hacking out well in walk if a little explosive at times!!!
Walking round the farm on grass past freshly mown, creosoted, and flagged xc fences is too much for him to handle!!!
So feeling pleased with his progress and with him obviously feeling more himself I was a little
to see what looked like Red Rum whizzing about Soap's field this morning!!! He obviously couldn't stand the easy life any longer and had to do a few laps round his nice small flat recovery paddock just to feel alive!
What can you do?.... short of hobble him or keep him penned up in a stall he is a tb and he just loves/has to run! I just hope he didn't undo all the physio's hard work
He looked good though whizzing about and as I couldn't catch him for 10mins coz he was too busy training for the National I videoed him instead! see below

Oh and just because I impressed myself with my culinary skills here is a pic of the 'consolation cookies' I baked myself because we had to miss out on BCA Intro
There tasted darn good, but I think we might have mice coz there are mysteriously none left now!
