May seem a pointless and boring question, however winter is drawing in and i want to be prepared just wondered if anyone had a preference and a recommendation for some good quality thermal socks that do what it says on the tin??

Many thanks x x

Yes, heatholders are brill, you can get them from camping/outdoorsy type shops. In my house we've all got 1 pair each, me and the daughter for riding, husband and son for golf!

Another vote for Heat holders - they are the only ones that actually work for more than 20 mins! Nice a toasty toes whilst riding is a pleasant feeling :D

Sportsdirect have them in stock at the moment - last years (long) for £5 and this years for £5.99 :) Gloves too x

I have found over the years that the way of keeping your feet warm is to have boots that are a little to big.
If you have your normal size on and put on extra socks then your feet are held tight. Have a pair that are one or even two sizes bigger and then just wear two pairs of socks and your feet remain toastie.
