as the winter approaches, just wanted to pick your brains about your fav socks!!!! mine always end up with holes in, but i do love a good pair of knee length socks (sad i know)

Ive just got some of the new Toggi ones - lined on the foot and really warm and comfy - not that cheap though at nearly £20 for 3 pairs

Absolutely swear by the coolmax hiking ones from Millets - although they are not knee length.
They have got a really nice cushioned bit under your foot, are really comfy and never slip down.
About £12/13 for two pairs though.

I wear Bridgedales - they are supposed to be walking socks, they help prevent rubbing. Not knee length but lovely and toasty warm. And good if like me you have thin warmblood skin that rubs easily, lol!

ski socks are the only ones i can find that are knee length and last well. nice gents' knee-length socks wear through in a month or two.

Poundland knee length socks. Mine have lasted sooo well, and are really warm and comfy. Not to mention funky

I wear hubbies socks - who rants the entire winter that he has no clean socks or that they've got shavings attached!

Oh well, keeps him happy to have a grumble!

His ones are knee length woolly ones as he works outside (toastie)
