Typical. I have the whole week off work and had plans to do much riding and schooling with the horses and Ellie goes lame.

Of course she will be fit as a fiddle come next Monday morning when I am back at work - Grrrrrrr

My son had an operation just before Christmas that meant he couldn't ride for 2 months. I hacked him out as my horse was off work. He got the all clear to ride the day before Feb half term. Rode 3 times - horse went lame & needed 4 weeks off!

Sods Law - your horse will always develop sudden acute lameness on a Sunday or Bank Holiday & your dog will always have diarrhoea on the palest carpet in the house.

sods law - i am on exam leave (only a few days laeft

) so i decided the two hours i spend gettign to a from school i would spend riding more to get ponio fitter

first week went well and i rode for 60-120 mins a day and he really started getting fitter...
but then of course his saddle stopped fitting and now for the last 3 weeks my only option has been to ride bare back which im finding impossible to ride for more than 60 mins
